No free lunch but we do offer a complimentary dessert.
Probably but better call them.
My sister ordered eggs, sausage and hash browns. I'm pretty darn sure the sausages they served were Aidells chicken apple sausages. They did not look at all authentic. I ordered a bowl of eggs over a biscuit with gravy. It was your standard fare. Nothing spectacular. The Aebleskivers we shared were plain and a bit dry.
Wonderful food, great breakfast. Train room for kids is amazing. Service nice and friendly. Highly recommend.
Long wait for a Saturday morning breakfast. Not impressed that they were doing karaoke. The room was cold and the food was average.
Great ambiance. Great service. Great food.
Great service & delicious food
Nice cafe that reminds me of a restaurant in Solvang, Ca. Really good food.
Great place for brunch, oddly located, but no the less its a great place to eat.
Good food, good value.not sure if the new technology was the way to go. I think it took away from the original family practice of friendly in town service.staff and waitressing a little bit lost and less interested in customer service.
This a place I would drive by, all this time I could of been having an amazing meal just like today. Dont wait, stop if you drive by it. You wont be disappointed. Kid friendly, we loved. Love the food.
It was my 1st time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is connected through a quaint little gift shop. The wait wasn't long for a Saturday morning (10ish) We browswd through the store filled with cute gift ideas of all kinds from tea sets to baby gifts. The restaurant atmosphere was very welcoming. It felt like being at home, well except you don't have to do the cooking or cleaning. Our server was amazing, she was very friendly and helpful. The fresh squeezed orange juice was to die for. I ordered the Viking combo: French toast with eggs, bacon and sausage with a side of Country Home Fries. I would definitely recommend the potatoes, the flavors were amazing. Lastly we shared an Aebleskiver, which was very yummy. Overall it was definitely a great experience and will be returning again every chance I get.
I visit this great restaurant many times a year! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this place frequently. The meals are excellent, the staff members are courteous and the charge is good. I like being in this restaurant for a rich lunch.
Eat at Valhallas on a regular basis. Took a friend's kindergarten son with us the other day. He marched around the gift shop, inspecting all the goodies. Then he declared, "I like this place!" Food is fantastic; service is exemplary; prices are fair.
Food delicious, great service, good quality,
I went there with my mom and it was not what I expected but it was way better. I had biscuits and gravy and they put an egg in it and the little pieces of sausage were delicious 👌 my mom had lil donuts and the jelly way really good
Food was good, but our waitress was not what we usually receive when we come here. Its usually a down home investment. I had to get up and go get a second cup of coffee myself..
Great place to eat! Good food and service.
Great place for BF and lunchGot good food and nice menu. Recommend the fresh orange juice.
A gem of a place in downtown Visalia. Great food, even if you are a vegetarian or vegan. If you are a T Rex you will definitely love it. Tons of choices for meat eaters. The gift shop is cool too. Reminds me a little of Cracker Barrel restaurant in that sense. For those of you who are down with our Southern family and know what Cracker Barrel even is. My point is, this place is definitely worth a visit if you are an out-of-towner and definitely worth a visit if you are an in-towner. Tell them this google review sent you. You won't get a discount, nor will I get anything, but it's something different to say rather than the typical standard ole "Hi, I'd like a table for 5 please" If you're not saying HI or PLEASE to begin with... you know what... never-mind... not going to get preachy. This review is not the place. Long story short, go check this place out. Worth a visit. Even if you are a brontosaurus like me.
Great Food and So much fun for my niece at the play diner
The food and the service here was great. Would totally recommend for anyone, but it's not anything spectacular. Our server was nice, the food was great, and the Danish theming was present but not as strong as I expected.
Love their ableskivers and preserves. I always get their tea with crushed ice to go and their shop is absolutely adorable.
Always great food and very reasonable.
Great service and excellent food. It has such a welcoming feeling that it almost feels like I'm eating at a family member's house.
Great food and staff. Lots of amazing homemade items served in a family owned restaurant.
They have the best coffee I've ever had. They have a very unique Gift store. The owners are so polite and friendly. Just a pleasure to talk to. Very nice place to bring your family. Love this place.
Breakfast is so good! We sat in the "Train room" which was really cool. Our son played with the wooden train table and play kitchen! The service was great and food was delicious!
Great food at a good price. Cute shop as well.
Valhalla is a great place for breakfast or lunch, with a wide assortment of dishes, including several Danish ones. Open only for breakfast and lunch, with typical Danish food and wonderful standard breakfasts. It's where Visalians congregate because of the friendly atmosphere.
Delicious food with great service. The layout of the restaurant is pretty odd though.
I wish I had tried this place sooner! Really liked the variety on the menu, friendly service, good food...
If you get the chance to go in for breakfast....do it! The breakfast I had this morning was so good. The good food made my morning. It's such a comfortable place as well, going in there I knew I would be getting a great meal. Please go in if you get the chance.
Great friendly service. Reasonable prices. Homey atmosphere. Good breakfast selection. Fresh-squeezed OJ was very good.
Fantastic place to have a decently priced meal. One of Visalia's hidden gems.
The gates of Valhalla opened my eyes to Danish goodness. The service was great and the food was delicious.
One of my favorite places for Breakfast.
I just love their food. I always get fantastic service there. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always nice. I highly recommend this place.
What can I say -They make the best Ebelskivers!
Good food and great service! In and out quickly!
Had not been there in over 20 years. It was wonderful. Excellent service, food was tasty
Neat Danish American breakfast and lunch place plus a gift shop. Very homey. A locals place. Lots of room and very lively at 7am when they opened. Give it and the Danish breakfast items a try.
Valhalla's is our family favorite for breakfast. You can't miss with the fresh squeezed orange juice, aebelskivers, waffles with fresh strawberries or Danish pancakes. The staff is friendly and does a great job to ensure your meal is perfect. Oh, and don't forget a fresh pecan roll for later in case you have already eaten too much delicious food.
Great food with a really fun menu. Betsy, our server, was super friendly and made great recommendations. Chicken fried steak and aebleskivers were delicious. Will definitely visit again.
Every good place very clean, good people working there I only go for breakfast no complaints yet. I leave satisfied and happy and I will continue going there for breakfast. It's my second time that I'm being there. Family-orientated make it happen have a bright sunshiny day later
Awesome little place to eat and relax our server was amazing and always prompt in making sure we had everything we needed!
very nice place! Home furnishings. Very tasty cook! A separate room for visitors with children is a games room. I recommend to all!!!
Great service, chile verde omelette was good but my potatoes had bits of jalapeno and bits of onion which I didn't want spicy not for breakfast, I did enjoy my orange juice.
Stopped by on a whim for something different. This place is great. We had the lamb kebabs, and they were tender and well cooked on the grill. The owner (I think he was the owner) was a great guy. Super friendly and patient with us as we were not familiar with the cuisine. Overall, a great experience. We will be back
Wonderful and unique restaurant! Tried some new breakfast foods not usually found and decided to buy some stuff from the shop on the way out. They had a kids room with adult diinng tables and play tables for kids. Wish I could rate this place higher than 5/5.
Great place for breakfast, fast & friendly service. Their home made sausages are excellent as well as their Danish aebleskiver.
The food tastes fresh like a homemade breakfast, served in a timely manner and reasonably priced. They even have GF toast!
